1. 50 Angle class II cases were treated with activators. The lip-, tongue- and jaw-muscle-activity were recorded by electromyography and strain gauges.

2. The medium gluteal muscles, the adductor and iliopsoas muscles were examined by electromyography on 42 patients, 3 months to 8 years following arthrodesis of the hip joint.

Es wurden bei 42 Patienten 3 Monate bis fast 8 Jahre nach operativer Versteifung eines Hüftgelenkes die Mm. glutaeus medius, adductores und iliopsoas elektromyographisch untersucht.

3. Predisposing factors were studied: atopy (IgE dosage), increase of histamine release (intradermal testing with 48/80), abnormal receptivity to histamine (intradermal histamine), spasmophilia (electromyography recordings).
